Mint Chocolate Chance is the newest flavor by Ben & Jerry’s. It’s inspired by Chance the Rapper’s love of mint ice cream and brownies. With this background, we knew we had to bring our A game to this packaging. Here are some of the principles we brought to this project that can be applied across product promotion packaging:
What principles do you use to govern product promotion?
Prior to designing, it’s important to narrow down the options first. This is where strategy is key. Knowing your market and overall aesthetic is the first step.
Next, allow for a little improvisation. What elements could surprise your audience in a good way? What kind of design would attract and retain customers?
