Steve Sandahl
Account Executive / Senior Packaging Expert
Steve began his career working part-time for a packaging manufacturer during high school. After graduating from college with a BA in Economics, Steve decided to pursue a full-time career in packaging. He has held positions in estimating, purchasing, and operations. His background coupled with personal interaction skills led to his position in sales. Steve has been with Sunrise since 1987.
Steve is an avid golfer who enjoys traveling and tinkering with hot rods.
Jay Schreyer
Account Executive / Special FX Packaging Expert
Jay has been with Sunrise since 1988. Every year, Jay wins the award for putting in the most miles visiting customers. Jay is personable and very easy to talk to. He specializes in coming up with new ways to package ordinary products.
Jay is a classic car enthusiast and can be found at the many car shows locally every summer and the Barrett-Jackson collector car auction in Scottsdale, AZ every winter.
Jason Lowe
Account Executive
Jason has been with Sunrise since 2004 when he returned to the Midwest from Southern California. It’s his craziness of choosing the frozen tundra over sun and sand that makes him a great packaging resource. Adaptability and creativity are his forte. If you’ve got a product or image to promote, Jason can package it with style and impact.
Jason has recently begun exploring his interest in television broadcasting. He volunteers for a local non-profit organization helping them broadcast their events. When he's not behind a camera or in the control room, Jason enjoys traveling, playing guitar (very recreationally, unlike Nick Rude who takes his music much more seriously), and spending time with his family.
Nicholas Rude
Account Executive
Nick has been with Sunrise since 2004, when he graduated from St. Cloud University. Nick was one of the masterminds behind our PermaVue line. It was his vision of creating an audio book case which looks like a hardbound book that launched to the product line. Nick has quickly developed the ability to create unique packaging designs and concepts.
Nick loves to play music in his spare time. He enjoys playing the Blues, Jazz, Reggae and of course Rock n' Roll. He enjoys many outdoor sports including snowboarding, Golf, tennis, and basketball.
Ed Piermantier
Account Executive
Ed is our printing guru. He joined us in the Summer of 2007. Ed began his career in the printing industry. Ed rounds out the Sunrise team by giving us an in-house expert in printing. He knows the ins and outs of getting a printing job done right! Ed regularly saves our customers time, effort, and expense by applying his experience to custom jobs.
Ed enjoys long car drives which give him plenty of time to brainstorm new packaging solutions for his customers.
Harvey Edelstein
Account Executive
Harvey may be the "New Guy" on the team because he joined Sunrise in the Fall of 2007. However, he comes to us from the poly packaging industry. Harvey’s expertise in this line of packaging is relied upon by the entire Sunrise team.
Harvey is a civil war buff and loves Corvettes and antique cars.
Kelly Jo Canfield
Customer Relation Representative
Kelly has been with Sunrise since 2002. She has a broad range of product knowledge. Kelly is regularly complimented by customers for advising them on their orders. She is known for helping customers determine the most economical product mix and shipping methods for their projects. Kelly’s “can do” attitude is an asset to both Sunrise and our customers.
In her spare time, Kelly co-leads a Girl Scout Troop and is involved in her community’s recreational soccer league.
Karen Boeke
Customer Relation Representative
Karen has been with Sunrise since 2003. She has extensive product knowledge. Karen is our resident Name Badge, Luggage Tag, and Magnet expert. She works with several companies on a daily basis producing id and travel related products. Her years of experience have honed her efficiency and she works seamlessly with our Graphic Arts Department.
Karen is a strong supporter of her community’s Volunteer Fire Department in which her husband is a member. She has three very active children that keep her busy with coaching her daughter's soccer team and teaching Sunday School at her church.
